How were we, the Calellenses five centuries ago? We were probably not that numerous, nor as cosmopolitan. But surely our ancestors were as optimistic, active and close like us. Otherwise, they would not have been able to develop the transatlantic trade that turned our city into what we are currently.

In the Renaissance Fair we want to remember this humanistic past and show its influence on our customs. More than 35 exhibitors offer their products and there will be a lot of hustle and bustle for two days in the old town. Storytellers, performances, music or parades can still be seen while you walk on the streets, reminding us of past times. For the curious amongst you, there are guided tours in different languages that allow to discover the remains of a golden age.
