This weekend, Calella has been present at Eindhoven, at the fair organized by the Dutch tour operator Solmar Tours.
Calella has participated once again at the Solmar Tours fair in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The event has taken place throughout the weekend and has received more than 6,500 visitors, among which Calella has been promoted as a family and sports tourism destination.
This is the 8th edition of this meeting organized every year by the Dutch travel tour operator Solmar and which brings together hotels and tourist offices around the world to offer information directly to the final public. Tourism of Calella has participated this year with the aim of meeting new potential Dutch clients and that they can get to know Calella's offer first hand.
The Netherlands is one of the traditional issuing markets of our city. According to hotel occupancy data for this season, the Dutch market is ranked as the ninth most important with a total of 71,273 overnight stays, between May and October 2019, with a market share of 3.77%.
